How do I add a Resting Place Location?

As a Keeper Administrator, you can add your loved one’s final resting place to their Memorial page in the Resting Place section. You can mark the spot of their headstone, urn, memorial tree, scattering location, and more by dropping a pin, adding an address, or using the exact geographic coordinates. Additionally, you can add images of the final resting place to help guide visitors to the spot or help far-away loved ones feel close.

How do I add a Resting Place Location?

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Navigate to the Memorial page
  3. Click Edit Memorial

  1. Scroll to Add a resting place and select it

  2. Enter the place name into the location field (example: Cemetery Name)
    • Select the desired location in the dropdown that will appear
    • This address will display on the memorial page 
    • The map will move to the location selected

  3. Add a name or description in the field below
    • This name will display on the memorial page

  4. From there you have the option to add a description about the Resting Place to help guide visitors.
    For example:
    • “Section: Sunrise, Row: 14, Plot 1”
    • “Take the bunny trail all the way up the mountain, and go to the lookout on the left - it was always mom’s favorite spot!”

  5. You can also drag and drop the pin on the map, or geotag the precise location

  1. Once the location has been selected, click Save Resting Place

 

The saved Resting Place will display on the Memorial page

⚠️Note: Don't enter sensitive info like a residential address - enter a neighborhood instead!
