KeeperQR | How to Link your Digital Memorial

How do I activate my KeeperQR if a memorial was selected at the time of purchase?

1. Scan the QR code using your phone.

2. You’ll see the memorial that was selected during purchase.

3. Click “Link to <Name>’s to QR” to confirm the link.
4. Once confirmed, you'll see a success message — the QR is now live and viewable.

💡 Tip: Want to link a different memorial instead? Tap “Link a different memorial” and log in to your Keeper account to update it or create a new one.

What if no memorial was selected when the QR was purchased?

1. Scan the QR code with your phone.
2. You’ll land on a welcome page and be prompted to log in to your Keeper account.

3. After logging in, you’ll be able to:
   1. Select an existing memorial from your account if one exists, or Create a new memorial
   2. Click “Link Memorial to QR” to complete the setup.

4. You’ll see a confirmation screen — your KeeperQR is now linked.

How do I create a new memorial when activating my KeeperQR?

When you purchase a KeeperQR and choose to activate it by clicking the activation link in your order confirmation email or by scanning the QR code, you will be taken to a Welcome page to start the setup.

Here’s what to expect in the memorial creation process:

1. Log in to your Keeper account

2. To create a new Memorial, click the “Create a Memorial” link or button

3. Follow the 3-steps in the Memorial Creation modal:
   • Step 1: Add basic information — Enter the full name (first and last) of the person the memorial is for. Pronouns are also required here to personalize the page.

• Step 2: Enter dates — You can add the Date of Birth and Date of Death, but these are optional fields.

• Step 3: Upload a profile image — You may upload a photo to represent the memorial; this step is optional.

4. Save your memorial. Once you complete these steps, save the new memorial.
5. Next, you’ll be directed to the “Link Memorial” page where your newly created memorial will be preselected and displayed. Simply click the “Link Memorial to QR” button to connect your QR code with this memorial.

6. Activation complete! Your KeeperQR is now successfully linked and ready for use. Anyone who scans the QR will be directed to this memorial page.

I received a KeeperQR as a gift. How do I set it up?

1. Scan the QR code and click “Received as a Gift”  link on the welcome screen.

2. Instructions are displayed, reviewing setup next steps with the option to notify the person who gifted it to you.

3. By clicking the “Send Instructions” button, the purchaser will receive your request to complete the setup.
4. Once the memorial is linked, your QR will be ready to use and viewable by anyone who scans it.
